Terms of Use — Sector8

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to the Sector8 website, documentation, shadow-mode pilots, and the Sector8 Gate (together, the “Services”). The Services are provided by Sector8 AI Limited, a company established in Ireland. Contact: hello@sector8.ai.

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If your organisation has a signed agreement with Sector8 AI Limited, that agreement prevails where it conflicts with these Terms.

1. Who may use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.

If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you agree to these Terms for that organisation and confirm you have authority to do so.

2. The Gate and shadow mode

The Sector8 Gate evaluates proposed agent actions and returns ALLOW or DENY. Sector8 does not execute the action. Your runtime must honour the decision before dispatch. If your runtime executes an action that was denied, or never sent to the Gate, that action is not governed by Sector8.

A shadow-mode pilot evaluates proposed actions with enforcement off, arranged with Sector8. In shadow mode, Sector8 records what it would have returned. It does not block. Access to the Gate may require an account or a separate commercial agreement.

You are responsible for what your runtime sends to Sector8, including that you have the right to send it. Proposed actions may include tool names, arguments, and identifiers.

3. Use of the Services

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

Bypass or breach security or authentication measures
Interfere with the operation of our systems or networks
Share API keys or access credentials except within your organisation as authorised
Use the Services to transmit unlawful content

We may suspend or terminate access if we detect misuse or a breach of these rules.

4. Account and access

You are responsible for keeping login credentials and API keys confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us at hello@sector8.ai if you believe an account or key has been compromised.

5. No compliance guarantee

Sector8 AI Limited does not provide legal advice and does not make you compliant with the GDPR, HIPAA, the EU AI Act, or any other regime. Evidence records can support a review. They do not complete one.

6. Intellectual property

Intellectual property in the Services belongs to Sector8 AI Limited or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Services without prior written permission. Feedback you send may be used to improve the Services without obligation or compensation.

7. Privacy

Use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is”. Sector8 AI Limited does not warrant that the Gate will be uninterrupted, or that it will allow or deny every action as you expect. Fail-closed means a routed action must not run if the Gate cannot return a decision your runtime can honour.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, Sector8 AI Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including data loss, business interruption, or system failures.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the Services during the prior six months. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that Irish law does not allow to be excluded.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the website or email. Continued use means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of laws. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
